The Career Story Competition gives young creative writers the opportunity to participate in communicating Qatar Career Fair’s message by writing a short story which instills the concept of planning a future job or career.

Competition Requirements:

1. The applicant must be a Qatari national.
2. The applicant must be between 16 and 26 years old.
3. The story must be written in Arabic.
4. The story must deliver a clear message.
5. The story’s title must be relevant to the profession you are talking about in your story.
6. The whole story must contain between 800 and 1500 words.
7. The applicant must submit a fully written story, not a partially written one. 
8. The story must express the Qatari youth’s aspirations to have a profession, a specialty, a job or a major.
9. The applicant must submit the story in hard copy along with a soft copy in Microsoft Word.
10. The applicant can submit a maximum of three stories that are relevant to the competition’s topic, and that present different professions.

Competition Rules:

1. The judging panel of the competition will select five winning stories, and its decision is deemed as final.
2. Qatar Career Fair reserves the right to use the participating stories, including the non-winning ones, without any prior permission from their authors.
3. The judging panel of the competition has the right to reject any story that it deems as inappropriate.
4. The winners will be announced during the annual event of Qatar Career Fair.

The deadline for the stories’ submission is to be decided later.
