Qatar Career Fair (QCF), a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, will host its first Winter Career Camp later this month for 50 Qatari preparatory school students. The camp is open to both boys and girls, with separate classes held for each group of students.

The camp aims to instill the basics of a strong career culture in Qatari preparatory school students, and help them discover their skills and talents that will allow them to carefully choose their future career.

The camp will also provide students with an edutainment experience through which they will acquire multiple soft and life skills in an easy and entertaining manner.

The one-week program encompasses a variety of stimulating workshops that have been tailored to develop the students’ personal skills, helping them to choose the appropriate academic path for their desired career.

The camp also offers opportunities for site visits to leading organizations in Qatar, including Aspire, Sidra Medical and Research Center, Qatar Animation Center and Qatar Airways, allowing the students to gain first-hand insights into the jobs at these organizations and to know the extent to which these jobs match their skills and potentials. This will allow them to plan their future academic endeavors and careers at an early stage.

All students who successfully complete the program will be awarded participation certificates.

Participation Requirements

• The applicant must be a Qatari National.
• The applicant must be a preparatory school student (7^th – 9^th Grade) and not above 15-years-old.
• The applicant must obtain a letter of no objection from a parent or guardian.
• The applicant must pay a registration fee of QR500.

Registration for the Winter Career Camp 2015 is open online through QCF website from 4 to 20 January 2015.

Visit QCF premises to pay the registration fee. Fee payment shall be made exclusively through bank cards (credit or debit).
