Under the Gracious Patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince Qatar Career Fair 2012 will be held from April 1 to 5
Qatar Career Fair which is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Heir Apparent, is considered to be an appropriate Forum and suitable environment for educational institutions and employers in Qatar to meet with Qatari students and job seekers. Qatar Career Fair which is organized by Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, Qatar Petroleum, Amiri Diwan, Qatar University, and the Ministry of Labor, provides opportunities for Qatari youth to create a network of relationships, identify the government agencies and private sector companies, acquire professional awareness, and participate in workshops aiming at developing their skills to enter the labor market. It also supports the employers in the country to achieve their human resource plans, according to the foundation of human development within the Qatar National Vision 2030.
The Fair organized a series of briefing sessions for potential exhibitors in the 5th edition of Qatar Career Fair 2012 in the presence of Qatar Career Fair team members, a large number of officials and representatives from various agencies and institutions. The Fair organizers were keen to hold these meetings early and include them in the Exhibitors’ manual to allow representatives of all parties to attend; the Exhibitors’ manual was sent in advance to offer to everybody the opportunity to participate in the Fair.
Ms. Moza Al - Mohannadi Senior Operations Officer at Qatar career Fair briefed about the preparations of the operations team for the fifth edition of Qatar career Fair 2012, where she spoke about the registration process, the available privileges for exhibitors, including: media campaign and related activities and events, pointing out that the registration period for those who wish to participate in the coming Fair will start from November 13 to December 1, 2011; the registration will take place at the Registration Office in Qatar Career Fair location, Education City – next to the procurement directorate.
She made it clear that after the end of the registration period, a technical meeting will be held on December 26, 2011 between the general contractor of Qatar Career Fair and the representatives of the exhibitors to discuss matters related to logistics and coordination services that will be provided during QCF 2012.
She added that the opening ceremony will be on Sunday, April 1, 2012, while the gates of the Fair will open to the public according to the following schedule.

Mr. Abdulla Al Mulla, Activities and Volunteering Officer shed light upon the launching of Qatar Career Club that aims at communicating the activities and events to all the public interested in general and the youth in particular in an effort to create a culture of career planning and new career concepts; the number of members who joined the club has reached 250 so far.
Al Mulla stated that the registration for voluntary work will start next week. The program of voluntary work is an initiative by Qatar Career Fair in order to instill the concept of volunteer work among the younger generation, which provides an opportunity for young people to show their skills and refine their personalities; it is an annual program implemented simultaneously with Qatar Career Fair which will be held from 1 to 5 April 2012.
He stressed that Qatar Career Fair will launch for the second year the "invest" initiative, which aims to create an innovative and pioneering generation able to contribute in the development in the State of Qatar in line with the vision of Qatar 2030; this initiative calls the young Qataris to build their proper career identity through the provision of investment projects, whether profitable or non-profit, useful and applicable in all areas. Al – Mulla talked about the preparations regarding the career photography and career story competitions, as well as the courses and workshops before and after the Fair.
On the other hand, Mr. Al Banai, Marketing Officer in Qatar Career Fair clarified the appropriate use of Qatar Career Fair 2012 logo by the exhibitors; he stressed the need of having an obligatory photographer pass to be able to take photos during the Fair.
It is worth mentioning that Qatar Career Fair, which was established in 2007, provides educational and employment, training and development opportunities available in the different sectors for secondary and university students, as well as new graduates.
