The Qatar Career Fair was born from the long term strategic plans devised by the wise government of Qatar under the leadership of H.H Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar.
Qatar Career Fair has greatly contributed towards the country's progress since it first started, by providing job opportunities for those seeking employment in various sectors Qatar and allowing students to be a part of study groups sent abroad for higher education. The fair also allows organisations to draw its potential employees from a pool of high calibre Qatari students.
Qatar Career Fair has several objectives such as:
- Providing Qatari youth with one common platform that hosts various organisations to choose from making it easier for them to apply to different jobs of interest. Giving them the valuable opportunity to apply to multiple companies or to be part of international study groups will create awareness among Qatari students and graduates of the importance of their role in developing the future of Qatar.
- Employment of Qatari citizens in different organisations which in turn, helps to increase the number of nationals working across various sectors.
